For over 30 years Garador, part of the B&D Group, has manufactured roller doors in New Zealand combining innovation, durability and safety. Each commercial door uses precision nylon drum wheel technology for quiet, reliable operation and is rated for sustained use in demanding environments — distribution centres, manufacturing facilities, storage operations and farm buildings with large machinery.

The range covers seven heights from 2400mm to 5000mm, with widths up to 4900mm. If your opening falls between sizes, simply round up to the next height and width for pricing, then enter your actual opening measurements when ordering — DoorsNZ has every door made to your exact dimensions.

Doors are manufactured in premium NZ COLORSTEEL® with the full colour range available to match your cladding, or Zincalume if you prefer an unpainted finish. For exposed sites and extra-wide openings, Garador's WindLocked option adds wind-lock end clips on every second panel and dual steel track brackets, preventing curtain disengagement in NZ's windiest conditions — ask us which rating your wind zone requires before ordering.

Doors over 3000mm high come with chain drive as standard; planetary gearing makes manual operation easier on the largest doors, or add an automatic opener with remote or keypad control. Openers and accessories ship with your door.

Need something smaller? The Windsor semi-industrial range covers workshops and sheds up to 4800mm high.

Seven heights from 2400mm to 5000mm, with widths up to 4900mm. Every door is made to order, so custom sizes within the range cost nothing extra — round up to the next size for pricing and enter your exact opening when ordering.

Measure the clear opening width and height at three points and record the smallest, then check headroom and side room for the drum and guides. Our How to Measure guide walks through it step by step. Also check your site's wind zone before ordering so the right guide option is specified.

Smaller doors in the range can be installed by confident DIYers with two people — full instructions are included and our DIY Hub has videos. For doors over 3300mm, high wind zones, or motorised installs, we recommend a professional installer or local fitting engineer

Lubricate moving parts, check and tighten fixings, and inspect weather seals every six to twelve months. Regular maintenance keeps the door running smoothly and protects the manufacturer's warranty.
