About Us..

Over 10 years ago we started our business on the basis that the average bloke could not buy a well priced garage roller door in the NZ market. It was controlled by a few big companies selling through franchise type arrangements and the DIY capable consumer was maybe paying more than they needed to.

We then looked at the other significant costs related to how most companies supplied this market, then we removed removed these from our business.

We don't have a bricks and mortar store nor do we have reps, an (unjustifiable) Utility or a flashy website.  We try and keep the business simple and can therefore keep our margins low.

Many competitors offer a free measure and quote, nothing is free.  This service is simply paid for by the customers that accept the quote.  Since we do not offer measure and quote services we have no need to load our prices to cover the cost of staff and vehicles.

Instead, we offer a naked service for those that know what they want, and just want it at a good price.  If you can operate a tape measure then you can measure the opening, but you need to be practical too.....if your garage is old and a bit out of square, or the bits and pieces on the inside don't all look neat and tidy, then unless you are a seasoned DIYer you might be far better served by a full service company that will come and measure the opening and provide a full sales service.  That's not us, we are low on personal service, high on value!

Typically our clients are builders, farmers, landlords or DIYer's, but we can also supply the general public with great doors at great prices.  As we have grown we have added additional services too, we now supply both Garador and Windsor brand roller doors, Windsor Sectional Doors and Personal Access Doors from Metalcraft.

We can also offer variations such as even larger guides for additional strength and security, Wind Lock Certified Guides and auto openers etc.
